Day 1. Hobart
Your Tasmania coach tour starts today with a pick up at the airport and a transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is free for you to discover the local sights in Hobart.

Day 2. Hobart, Russell Falls, Strahan (B,D)
Today your coach journey will be along the famous Derwent Valley and explore Russell Falls in Mt Field National Park. Then, your tour will travel into Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area to Lake St Clair before visiting The Wall in the Wilderness. Late in the afternoon your Tasmania coach tour will arrive into the lovely village of Strahan which will be your base for the next two nights.

Day 3. Gordon River Cruise (B,L)
Your tours starts off this morning with a cruise across Macquarie Harbour which will take you deep into the Gordon River wilderness. Enjoy specific window seating and a delicious lunch on board your tour boat. One of the highlights of the cruise will be a stop at Heritage Landing for a gentle walk through the ancient rainforest, before heading off to visit the former penal colony of Sarah Island. Afternoon will have you back in Strahan where you can wander the quaint village shops before having dinner in one of the many restaurants.

Day 4. Dove Lake, Cradle Mountain (B,D)
Today will see your Tasmania tour visit the World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain, an area of stunning beauty. A local guide will join the tour today and educate you in all things “local” especially the Dove Lake history. This afternoon is yours to enjoy some of the local sightseeing activities as part of your tour.

Day 5. Stanley, The Nut, The Tarkine, Smithton (B, D)
Its back on board your tour coach for a trip along the scenic north-west coast of Tasmania to the historic town of Stanley. This little town is famous for a place you will visit called “The Nut” which is a volcanic rocky outcrop rising 137 metres from the sea. In the early afternoon your tour will travel to the Tarkine and stop at Sumac Lookout before taking a guided walk through the rainforest, where you’ll enjoy an afternoon tea. Tonight you arrive in Smithton, known for its food, where you will have a Dining experience like no other!

Day 6. Sheffield, Ashgrove Cheese Factory, Woolmers Estate, National Rose Garden, Launceston (B)
As your coach heads East towards Launceston your first stop today will be in Devonport which is the home of shipping for Tasmania and where you will have the chance to take a guided tour of the House of Anvers chocolate factory. A short distance down the highway is the mural town of Sheffield where you will see what the local artist paint on there storefronts. This afternoon the tour will stop at the Ashgrove Cheese Factory to taste their specialty handcrafted cheese. Later that day enjoy a stroll around with a guide inside the historic Woolmers Estate. Time is allocated for you to wander through the museum and take a leisurely stroll through the impressive National Rose Garden, which is considered to be one of the finest collections of historic roses in the Southern Hemisphere. Late in the afternoon it’s all aboard your Tasmania tour coach for the short drive into Launceston.

Day 7. Ross, Depart Launceston (B)
On the last day of your Tasmania coach tour you will marvel at The Great Lake before heading down to the famous heritage township of Ross. Snap a photo of the historic Ross bridge and the surrounding original sandstone buildings before returning to Launceston. Your Tasmania coach tour concludes today with a complimentary transfer to the Launceston airport.
