I cannot fault your booking service at all. The website provided excellent details of the tour and the booking was very easy and smooth. As a first time solo traveller who was a bit nervous, but your consultant gave great advice and confirmed that this was a perfect tour to go on.
The Tasmanian Tour was absolutely fantastic! From the tour director and driver to the accommodation and food, and of course beautiful Tasmania, my holiday could not have been any more perfect.
As you can see, I am a very happy customer and will soon be planning my next adventure.

May 2018
We wanted to see both sides of Tasmania and we thoroughly enjoyed our 6-day tour. We were amazed at how much we saw and did in such a short time. Our guides were incredibly well-informed and informative about the places we went to and/or stopped at, and they both seemed personally to know a significant proportion of the local population! Lunches were excellent and the motels fine, although we could perhaps have done with a little more time to chill in the evenings pre-dinner, as a result of doing so much in the day and the Tasmanian tendency to dine early! Overall we were very impressed with Tasmania, probably the nicest part of Australia that I have seen.
April 2018
Thanks for helping me with my booking. The tour was as good, if not better than expected.
Our guides were excellent driver/guides.
Tasmania has much to offer and I hope to return for a longer trip in the future.
Thanks again for assisting with my excellent holiday.

April 2018
Just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time on our 6 day Tasmanian Tour and thank you very much for arranging it. Our Tour Director and coach driver were great, informative and friendly, they took an unexpected road closure (Targa car rally) in their stride and still provided us with a full and interesting itinerary. The weather was very good and we were very happy with all that we saw of Tasmania's east coast. Thanks again to Tasmanian Tours and yourself for providing such a memorable holiday for us. April 2018
We just got home after our trip to Australia. We loved our 6 day Tasmania Tour and had a wonderful time. Our guide did an excellent job of showing us Tasmania and looking after us all.
We would highly recommend this tour to others.

We both had a wonderful time with our guides. We feel that we know so much about Tasmania now and appreciated the effort they both put in to showing us around. They are so enthusiastic about Tasmania it was a pleasure to be with them for a great 6 days.
The tour was varied with something for everyone. Wildlife, history, food and wonderful scenery. The different lunches along the way were so good especially when they took us to small businesses such as the winery and salmon farm.
Even cooking us a barbecue one night was special.
I would recommend this tour to family and friends without hesitation.

February 2018
Our complete holiday was just fantastic, our tour guide Carolyn truly was magnificent.
You know you have been on a great trip when you are still thinking and telling your friends about your holiday weeks after arriving home, and that's what is happening with us.
my wife and I say thankyou for such a wonderful tour.
February 2018
We had a fantastic time far exceeding our expectations. Our guides were both so enthusiastic about Tasmania and so attentive to our needs. I am amazed that they can do these tours at these prices. Yes the accommodation was 3 star, but comfortable and clean, the food great. Really loved the lunch first day at Puddle Duck Winery, and the lunch at the salmon farm. Our guides explained everything and it was more like traveling with friends whom I had known for years than strangers that we just met. I am sure they know everyone in Tasmania.
I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to those who want a tour, where you are driven around and shown everything and everything is taken care of for you. As a single woman I knew driving Tasmania wasn’t something for me, but I wanted to see everything that I could in a week, this tour covered that for me, but it really exceed my expectations, as both guides were such great tour operators that with such great knowledge, I’m sure they know every tree in Tasmania as well. Loved every minute, love the stories and enjoyed their company. Regards Alison
February 2018
We had a great time on the 6 -day tour around the island! Tasmania is beautiful, it was good-sized group, and our guids were excellent. It was especially interesting to see all the different enterprises: oyster and salmon farms, winery, cheesemaker, honey production and tasting. It was even cherry season. We would definitely like to return and would recommend this tour to anyone.

Thank you for a wonderful in-depth Tassie holiday. This holiday by far exceeded my expectations as both guides were really knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about the whole of Tasmania. Breaking the day journey by stopping at many interesting locations was certainly a highlight for me.
We have so many memories it is really difficult to choose our favorite spot.
I loved the outdoor activities-- waterfalls, walks and cave adventure. These were suitable for all ages. Also the WALL was truly amazing!!!
The accommodation and food was of a very high standard and everyone we met were so helpful and caring.
I feel this was a FIRST CLASS HOLIDAY!!!!!!!!
Best Wishes for a successful 2018.

My mother and I had the best holiday in Tasmania. We loved it and she cannot stop recommending it to all her friends. She was particularly interested in the Convict History of Port Arthur and I loved the little penguins in Bicheno. Our guide and driver were excellent - full of interesting snippets of information. I would love to come back to Tasmania. Thank you for the great holiday.
Thanks Julia & Lynne October 2017
We have talked about our booking with Tasmanian Tours and really have no concerns with your services. Your site was easy to navigate and interacting with you all regarding the booking was no problem.
As for the 5 day tour it was really a very enjoyable time. The tour guide was excellent - he was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to ensure we had a memorable holiday. You have an absolute winner there.

My mother aged 80 and I just returned from this 5-day tour. We are very pleased with our experience. The itinerary was well planned, including the most exciting places in Tasmania. The accommodations were comfortable and food was delicious. The BBQ dinner was unforgettable. We should owe our appreciation to the guide - one of the best guides we have ever met. He is knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, reliable, very experienced and professional indeed. Most importantly, he enjoys his job and made our journey really interesting. I would highly recommend this trip to those who would like to experience most of Tasmania in a short week.

March 2017
My husband and I have recently completed a ten day Tasmania Tour. What a wonderful experience we had on this trip! Our guide's knowledge of the history and recent events was extensive. You could rely on him to almost always have a ready answer for any kind of query.
Tasmania certainly has far more to offer than either my husband or I ever thought and we thoroughly enjoyed our experiences. I mean, who would have thought it would take 10 days to see that little island at the bottom of Australia! Our accommodations were all lovely but if I could have just spent the rest of my trip in that comfy bed at Cradle Mountain, well I would have!
I did the penguin tour at Bicheno and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was well organised and it was a delight to see those funny wee creatures.
Lynda March 2017
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the tour director and bus driver were excellent, and the seat numbering system was a very good method to ensure everyone has a chance of sitting near the front.
The food, accommodation and sight seeing was really very well planned, my wife and I really enjoyed the trip.
Warm regards,
Weiwen
March 2017
We cannot express enough what a fantastic holiday we had. Being a bit younger then the majority of other travellers, we were a bit concerned that this type of holiday might not be for us. We couldn't have been more wrong. Gordon, the tour guide, was absolutely brilliant with a wealth of knowledge and Tom, the driver was a lovely man and a fantastic driver. Our fellow travellers were all lovely people and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to our friends or to do it again ourselves.
Thanks

Robert obviously loves Tasmania and this shows in the enjoyment he brings guests on the tour. The whole tour was well planned, I saw sites I will never forget and along the way I was educated about the environment. Robert never drives more than an hour or so without stopping with something for us to view. The days were well paced and it's so not about just driving around. If you want to see a lot of Tassie in a week then this is a tour I would highly recommend you consider.
Thanks Colleen January 2017
Dear Mel,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how fabulous our recent 5 day tour of Tasmania was. I know we made a late booking which caused all sorts of logistical issues but our family really appreciated you bringing all the flights, tour and accommodation together to make our family holiday one to remember.

PS, the Cadbury Chocolate factory was one of the kids highlights!

Thanks again,

Hi Andrew,

I was most impressed with our bus trip. I found the director on the bus excellent and the bus driver also.
Accommodation was very good also the meals.
I enjoyed Strachan and the Gordon River cruise best. Also enjoyed Launceston.
I found the reservation staff excellent.
Only fault on the trip was the bus steps were too big for someone my age . Should have had a small step at the bottom but was told that was not allowed any more.

Kind regards
Pat Angus

We really enjoyed our trip around Tasmania. Our guide Carolyn was very chatty and knowledgeable and made the tour very pleasurable, and we enjoyed the company of the other members of the group. Our drivers were also very friendly and competent. It was interesting to see the penal colonies and learn about the history of the island.
We would recommend the trip to others.
Best wishes

My tour was great. At 81 it was the first time that I had undertaken such a tour and that on my own.
Accommodation was fine. and great food at Strahan. Loved the Gordon river and the Wall near Lake St Clair - all was over and above my expectations.
The driving and commentary by Brett was outstanding, he loves his country and Kim was unfailingly efficient and cheerful.
best wishes

November 2016
We only had a short window of time to visit Tasmania and our 7 day tour fitted perfect with other travel plans. The staff were great and the people we met on tour were very nice. My family needed 3 single beds and this was accommodated for on the tour without any issues. The food at the stops was also very nice in keeping with local Tasmania meals which is one of the things Tasmania is now known for. Much thanks to the coach driver for his very informative briefings as we were going along. Overall a great tour.

November 2016
We very much enjoyed our Tasmanian Tour and found it very interesting and informative. The coach was brand sparkling new and very comfortable! We were all careful to wipe our feet before we got on! The transfers to/from Hobart airport were efficient and the hotels were, in the main, very good.
Overall we were very pleased with the whole trip - your website and booking procedures were good, and our experience of Tasmania was also gret. My only disappointment was that the optional excursion to see Tasmanian Devils was not available until the week after so I never got to see them! The penguins in Bicheno did make up for it though!
Thank you to everyone at Tasmania Tours for your efficiency and helpfulness.
Best wishes, Sue & John

“I joined the Tasmania 4 days tour in March 14 from Launceston to Hobart. For a short break, four days was absolutely the right choice due to the tour itinerary was perfectly planned by Tasmania Tours. Added on top, the tour guide and driver were excellent giving us a lot of information along the way that we would have never known and gave us a better appreciation of our Tassie.

I would highly recommend Tasmania Tours to everyone and not to mention the Staff there are so attentive to my enquiries & requests when I did the reservation.”

Hi Birgit,

Your fantastic tour of the island certainly ticked all the boxes for me. The accommodation was first class. Always very clean and fresh on arrival and on a two day stay. The food was all it should be for hungry people after a day on the trot. I liked the buffet style as you could eat as much or as little as you wished. The breakfasts certainly set us up for a strenuous day’s outing.

Our guide Carolyn was an unbelievable fount of knowledge. As we moved from place to place she was able to give us relevant information at each stop. I was amazed at the variety of destinations and although not very mobile I never felt left out as one could walk only as far as one was capable. Carolyn and the rest of the company were very helpful when boarding the bus as the steps were a bit steep for me.

The places I liked best were the forests , cradle Mountain and the cruise on Gordon River. They reminded me of my native Scotland.I admired the skill of our driver, Mark who got us safely and comfortably from place to place.

All in all, very good value for money and well worth a flight from the U.K.

Thanks for all the lovely memories .

Bet Doig.

It was certainly a very good travel experience we had with your organised group tour, and we certainly would recommend it to our friends. We have travelled widely overseas but this is the first time we have
joined a fully escorted coach tour within Australia (having lived in Aus for 37 years - shame! shame!!). We are very happy with the service, planning, organisation, efficient and friendly manner in which the entire tour was conducted.
No complaints. Well done.

Where do you get your staff from??? Firstly, the contact person we had
was absolutely superb throughout the booking process.
Secondly: The tour director and driver were both exceptional, both in ability and knowledge. You could not ask for a better pairing.
Thirdly: The standard of the local guides was also exceptional, even with the last minute changes to the itinerary due to the bushfires where we ended up at "the end of the world". It was really awe inspiring.

Regards, Barry & Nina

Hi Tammy,

We enjoyed the touring very much. I certainly didn’t have any issues with using your website to view the available tours and make a selection.

The highlight of the tour for us was the penguins at Bicheno. Our tour guide there, was exceptional. Another highlight was our tour guide at Sarah Island. She was very good and made the place come alive.

The bus was very clean and well looked after and our driver was a very good coach driver. We felt safe at all times.

Hi Tammy
I had a lovely time in Tassie. Our tour was very well organised, all accommodation was first class, and our tour guide was brilliant, and nothing was too much trouble for him. The choice of venues was varied and interesting, and we saw so much of the fabulous countryside and coastline, absolutely beautiful!!! The people were friendly, and all in all I had a fabulous time. Four days of being organised was enough for me but having the extra couple of days was great!!!

Many thanks

Cheers Jane

Hi Tammy

Our Tasmanian tour was very enjoyable.

In relation to the booking of the tour, the assistance provided by the Reservation staff was truly 100% and their response to queries was professional and prompt.

We were very happy that the additional accommodation and transfers were organised for us, so we had to basely just turn up. It is definitely the best way to see the sights of Tasmania.

Kind regards

Lina

Dear Mel,

I just wanted to drop a quick email to you saying a big thank you for organising our trip to Tasmania.
Even though we booked on short notice you managed to find a tour that we could see all the "must see" places, the 10 day tour was just right.

Our coach driver and hostess were amazing, nothing was a problem and we had many laughs as well as gaining an education.
The motels were clean and quiet but the food definitely stands out on the tour as it was delicious at every place we stopped. No wonder Tasmania has a reputation for great local produce.

We've already told lots of friends that they must visit Tasmania, it was a wonderful place and tour.

All the best

Hi Tammy,
Thanks for your email…..yes, we really loved Tasmania. A very pretty island and we got to see such a lot of it because of great time management of the daylight hours.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our Tassie tour.

Kind regards, Jane Law

Hi Tammy

My wife and I had a wonderful tour of Tasmania thanks to the professional and attentive service of our tour director and the coach captain. They were a great team and deserve to be congratulated, I was constantly amazed by their knowledge of the history and their broad local knowledge of the areas we traveled through and to. The itinerary was fantastic with a good balance of travel, points of interest and overnight stops. Tasmania is a beautiful destination.

Please pass on our sincere thanks.

Regards

Gavan

Hello Tammy
It was really wonderful, enjoyed every minute. Tasmania is such a beautiful place. Everyone was very friendly on our tour so that helped. The important thing was that we got to see all the places we wanted. Maybe a smaller group would have had more flexibility on timings etc. The highlight was the Gordon River River cruise, but then we were so lucky with the weather.

Dear Mel,

Marie and I genuinely enjoyed our Tasmania Tour, if we had any complaints it was to do with the twisting roads through the hills especially from Hobart to Queenstown, how they ever built road in that kind of country is quite amazing really, however that is nothing to do with the organisation of the tour, the accommodation and the coach driver, guide and all of the reservation staff etc. which we found no fault with.
However if I had to mention any improvement, and this is quite minor really, it would be that on occasions the tour guide did not always tell us the likely journey time to the next destination. Perhaps that fact could be improved upon, but that said all in all a great tour, really well done. I had been planning for some time now to visit Tasmania mainly because I had heard great comments from friends about what a fine place it was to visit and how friendly the people living there were, and we found this to be entirely true and we would like to return one day.

With best regards

The 11 Day Tour to Tasmania includes the Ship costs one way.

No tours include a trip to Bruny Island, however many people add this on as a day trip from Hobart either before or are after their multi day tour.

Airfares to and from Tasmania at the start and finish of your tours are extra.

Yes - this is one of our most popular and busiest times

If you are doing a 4 day tour commencing on April 8th, the first day of the tour is and includes the 8th, plus 9th, plus 10th plus 11th and the tour ends on April 11.

Please refer to your specific tour and look in the "Trip Notes" information where it may state this: You need to arrive any time the day prior to Day 1. If this is the case we can organise airport pick up and pre tour accommodation on your behalf, this will be an extra cost.

Other tours start late in the day on Day 1 so you can arrive that morning which will avoid the extra nights accommodation cost.

Please refer to the "Trip Notes" information for your specific tour which will explain this further.

The pick up is at the "before tour accommodation" hotel listed in the TRIP NOTES tabs of the specific tour you are looking at.

Due to our off season of winter, no Tasmania tours operate during the months of June, July or August. The season starts in September and ends in May each year.
