Day 1. Launceston, Freedom of Choice Touring, Welcome Dinner and Drinks (D)
On arrival in Launceston you will be met by your Tour of Tasmania by Coach representative and transferred to your hotel. Then choose to visit either Platypus House, Seahorse World, the Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre or indulge in a high tea at your hotel. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner and Drinks prepared exclusively for your tour group guests, as well as a special presentation by the chef.

Day 2. Bridestow Lavender Farm, East Coast Natureworld, Freycinet National Park (B, D)
Today your tour coach will visit the Bridestowe Lavender Farm in flowering season (Dec.-Jan.) and see fields of aromatic purple flowers. Following the Tasman Highway, enter the temperate forests of the Weldborough Pass where giant myrtles, over 300 years old, stand as sentinels along your journey. Visit East Coast Natureworld and meet a special Tasmanian Devil called Delilah, and learn about the issues facing the species. Then, journey to Freycinet National Park and walk along Cape Tourville. Arrive at Freycinet Lodge and enjoy views of Coles Bay while you savour a gourmet barbeque dinner (weather permitting).

Day 3. Freycinet National Park, Tasman National Park, Port Arthur (B, D)
Enjoy the morning at leisure to explore Freycinet National Park or simply relax on one of the stunning beaches. Continue to Richmond, where you'll enjoy time to explore. Here, you’ll see Australia’s oldest and one of its prettiest bridges, as well as a historic town of well-preserved Georgian buildings. Then your coach tour will travel to Tasman National Park to view a series of nature’s masterpieces. Marvel at towering cliffs and monumental rock formations, such as Devil’s Kitchen and Tasman Arch. Admire the perplexingly uniform carvings of the Tessellated Pavement. Continue through scenic countryside to iconic Port Arthur Tasmania where you’ll stay this evening.

Day 4. Port Arthur Historic Site, Richmond, Hobart, Dine Around Dinner (B, D)
This morning, explore Port Arthur Historic Site. See the penal colony ruins, explore the chilling prison facilities and cruise on Mason Cove around the Isle of the Dead. Rejoin your tour coach heading to Hobart Tasmania, where you visit the Botanical Gardens and later have the opportunity to choose from four mouth-watering dining experiences.

This morning your coach tour will follow the Derwent Valley to Mt Field National Park, Tasmania’s oldest wilderness area. A short walk will bring you to the spectacular Russell Falls. Continue to World Heritage-listed Lake St Clair before visiting The Wall in the Wilderness. Continue to Queenstown and the harbour town of Strahan. This evening, enjoy a delicious dinner overlooking the Strahan waterfront.

Day 7. Gordon River Cruise, Dine Around Dinner (B, L)
Board the Lady Jane Franklin II and discover the World Heritage wilderness of the Gordon River. Stop to explore the penal colony of Sarah Island with a local Tasmania tour guide. You may prefer to enjoy a seaplane flight rather than the cruise (additional charge). Your coach will continue this morning along the coast to the historical town of Stanley and see the rocky outcrop of The Nut. Journey through the incredible Tarkine wilderness region and stop at Sumac Lookout for dramatic views of the Arthur River. Continue to the Julius River Forest Reserve for a guided rainforest walk and afternoon tea, including Tasmanian wine and cake made with locally sourced honey. Then your tour of Tasmania by coach will head for Smithton for your stay this evening at Tall Timbers Hotel. Tonight, enjoy an exclusive Tasmanian Fare Dinner.

Day 10. House of Anvers, Sheffield, Woolmers Estate, National Rose Garden, Depart Launceston (B)
Visit Devonport, then sample chocolate delights during a tour at the House of Anvers. Journey inland to the mural town of Sheffield. Next, continue to the historic Woolmers Estate and the National Rose Garden. Explore the museum before heading to Launceston where your tours of Tasmania by coach ends with a transfer to the airport.
